KIM MCILHONE
Kim is a Registered Massage Therapist from Collingwood, Ontario.
She loves working with clients to improve their quality of life through techniques such as Fascial Release, Swedish Massage, Muscle Stripping, Trigger Point Release and PNF stretching.
She began her journey into Massage Therapy while working at a clinic in B.C., where she saw firsthand the positive impact of Massage Therapy.
After moving back to Ontario and having children, she decided it was time to explore her interest in Massage Therapy. While in school, Kim’s passion for Massage Therapy continued to flourish.
Kim graduated with honours from the two-year accredited Advanced Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2022.
During her studies, Kim and her peer completed a Case Study for the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO) Case Study contest. They were the first Georgian College students to be awarded first place in the history of the contest. The Case Study followed the effects of Massage Therapy on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). The study provided Kim with hands-on experience in reducing the impact of nerve compression caused by muscle tension.
Kim enjoys working with clients of all ages and health conditions to achieve their wellness goals.
